French Jam Cupboard with Gallery
Painted Pine - Circa 1860 - This wonderful French jam cupboard has a dramatic gallery around the top, fabulous period appropriate hinges hold the two panelled doors. Inside is one shelf. The door is held closed by a unique spin type metal lock. Most likely not original to this piece but is very old and adds to its character. Below the cupboard is an open bucket area. Perfect for display or storage. This is a very old and very rare French piece. The bottom has a scallop detail.
